About Us
Founded Out of a Deep Desire to Give Back to the Community
King’s Forest Construction began out of our deep desire to give back to the community while doing what we love: build awesome stuff!
At our core is a trio of extremely talented Red Seal Journeyman Carpenters. Together, we do amazing things. We love what we do, we do it well, and the result is a flourishing construction company with our roots in Dalmeny, SK.
We call Dalmeny home but we service the entire surrounding area, from Saskatoon to Rosthern and every gem in between.
From high-quality roofing products and processes to luxurious kitchen installs, finished basement developments and every aspect in between, our attention to detail and love of our craft shine through on every project.
Darren Nickel, Owner
Darren apprenticed with one of the most meticulous builders to ever grace the planet, gaining unparalleled experience in nearly every aspect of residential construction. From forming, to framing, to fine finishing, he knows the process and takes pride in a well crafted final product.

Our Staff
People say the little things make a big difference. Well, we are a little company, and we believe you’ll notice a huge difference. When you hire King’s Forest Construction, you won’t find cigarette butts all over your yard and you won’t have to put earmuffs on your kids. We’re clean, courteous, and we do what’s right.
We’re family men, and we understand your family’s needs!
Terry Reimer
Lead Carpenter
Terry grew up in construction and is fluent in most areas of construction. He’s a well rounded journeyman carpenter and an excellent foreman and teacher to the young guys on the team. We couldn’t do this without him!
Kevin Stobbe
Director of Operations
Kevin has a varied construction history, from framing, to eavestroughing, to refrigeration and air conditioning, and finally to crushing our numbers and excelling in Microsoft excel. He keeps the books running tight, and provides a skilled set of hands when needed on the tools.
Gared Marcotte
Apprentice Carpenter
Gared brings us a country-raised work ethic, a level head, and broad shoulders. His concern for the environment and for proper procedure guarantee a tight site every time. He’s seen a fair bit of the world, and he saw that it’s good. He wants to make sure we keep it that way.
